After finding an old Newell motor coach on Facebook Marketplace, I head to Winston-Salem, NC to take a look at it and see if it's worth pursuing.

“I wanted something with good "bones" - something much tougher than any new RV that you can buy today - a canvas worth painting.”

Who Needs a House Anyway?

There I was, sitting there at my desk, with an e-sign document staring back at me from my computer screen. It was a offer to purchase a house in my beloved town of Oriental, NC. All my ducks were in a row. I had pre-approval from the bank. I had gone to look at the place multiple times. It was in a great location, had a detached workshop and even a water view of the Neuse River. The realtor was telling me I had a good chance of getting it if I came in a little bit higher on my offer.
